About us:
UPR Virtual, Adjoined to the Vice Presidency of Professional and Distance Programs (VPPAD), is the strategic initiative of the University of Puerto Rico to lead the transformation of distance education. As part of our technological evolution, we have consolidated the online academic offering of the UPR system in the new portal. virtual.upr.edu (formerly known as adistancia.upr.edu).
Our mission is to centralize and promote access to a diverse offering that spans from certificates and associated degrees to bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and continuing education.
