El propósito del módulo es fortalecer el conocimiento de los participantes sobre la importancia de la salud oral en personas con diagnóstico positivo de VIH, con énfasis en las manifestaciones orales asociadas a la infección, los diferentes tipos de infecciones orales, sus características clínicas y las diferencias entre ellas. También aborda el efecto de los medicamentos para el VIH en la salud oral y el riesgo de desarrollo de cáncer oral en esta población.
