Tiene como propósito promover el aprendizaje de modo que los profesionales de la conducta adquieran las competencias y conocimientos fundamentales sobre el Trastorno de Espectro Autista (TEA) y darles las herramientas necesarias para identificar señales, el diagnóstico e implementar intervenciones efectivas. Comprender qué es el autismo y sus características principales. Identificar los signos tempranos y las herramientas de diagnóstico disponibles Discutir la neuroanatomía del cerebro con características del Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA). Identificar características del cerebro en la persona con TEA . Conocer la prevalencia del TEA y la naturaleza de las condiciones comórbidas. Conocer los diferentes enfoques terapéuticos y estrategias de intervención. Entender la importancia del rol de los profesionales de la salud en el manejo del autismo.
