El propósito del módulo es fortalecer las competencias de los participantes para reconocer, prevenir y eliminar el uso de lenguaje estigmatizante en la provisión de servicios de prevención, tratamiento y atención del VIH. El contenido aborda el estigma asociado al VIH, los niveles en que se manifiesta, las formas en que el lenguaje estigmatizante se emplea en entornos de salud y su impacto en la calidad de los servicios. Además, el módulo ofrece estrategias prácticas para promover el uso de lenguaje sin estigma en los espacios de trabajo y en la interacción con personas que reciben servicios relacionados con el VIH.
