El propósito del módulo es promover una reflexión crítica sobre el estigma asociado al VIH y su impacto en la prestación de servicios de salud. El contenido aborda la etiología del estigma, sus expresiones históricas y actuales, la relación entre estigma, discriminación y prejuicio como construcciones sociales, así como las creencias populares sobre las personas que viven con VIH. También examina los efectos cuidado de salud y las acciones necesarias para reducirlo.
